ABA Online Bird Photo Quiz Prize Winner
Kevin Kerr has had an interest in birds for as long as he can remember. He is currently a post-doctoral fellow in the Division of Birds at the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of Natural History were he is involved with several molecular projects. He earned both his B.Sc. and Ph.D. from the University of Guelph in Ontario, during which time he enjoyed many local birding trips with the university’s Wildlife Club. Fieldwork and courses also provided him with opportunities to look for birds in more exotic locations ranging from Hudson Bay to Iguazu Falls to the Great Barrier Reef. He will be returning to his native Toronto this fall to start a new position at the Royal Ontario Museum.
