Susannah B. Lerman is a graduate student in the Conservation Biology program at Antioch New England Graduate School in Keene, NH. Her research focuses on the winter ecology of Striated Scops Owl in southern Israel. Her interest in birds began in earnest after her first visit to Israel in 1996. Since that time, she has traveled extensively throughout Israel, North America and parts of Europe with her husband, James P. Smith, in pursuit of birds.
Susannah will receive a Minox 8 x 32 BA binocular, donated by Leica Sport Optics, for submitting correct answers for five of the six quizzes posted between October 2003 and March 2004.
